The joys of moving

We closed on our house last Friday. The closing went more smoothly than anything else about the move. We began moving into our apartment on Tuesday. Jason wasn't able to help as much as he planned Tuesday because one of his branches received a bomb threat and he spent the day dealing with that. On Wednesday, the starter went out on his car, so while I was loading boxes, he was at the mechanic. When Jason got home from the mechanic, I had to take Emily to the doctor - she had an ear infection. While we were moving out, the buyers decided they wanted to come back through one more time, so I had to finish getting stuff out and cleaning more quickly than I anticipated. Throughout all of this I was waiting on updates on my month old nephew, Dylan, who was in the hospital for six days. Please keep him in your prayers. The doctors think they have dealt with the current problems, but it has been very stressful for my brother and our family.

I was less than thrilled about our small apartment at first, but it is starting to grow on me. Small is good when it comes to cleaning! We're going to look at approximately ten houses tomorrow. Maybe we will see THE ONE!
