We've been enjoying our quarter of an inch of snow we got a few days ago. The weathermen were forecasting several inches of snow, but we just got three days of flurries instead. We did miss a school day because of it! It has been a couple of years since we had a good snow, so the girls had nothing to compare the amount with and they kept saying, "Look at all this snow! Let's go sledding!!" Maybe we'll get one really good snow this winter. I hate cold weather, so by February I'm ready for Spring to arrive.
Some things the girls have said recently:
They were arguing over what to name a baby. Lauren to Emily, "I'm an angel and you'll name that baby what I say to name it." (Glad to see she's listening at Bible reading time.)
Emily can't make the "oy" sound, but says "ee" instead. Think "cowbee" instead of "cowboy." The other night she told Jason, "Daddy, you're my bee (boy)!"
Keep us in your prayers as we move this week!
