I'm really not a teenager anymore

In the last couple of weeks, it has become very apparent that I don't have the body of a teenager anymore. You're probably thinking I should have realized that fact back when I was in my twenties, but it has really sunk in lately. My first "I'm getting old" moment came a couple of weeks ago when I noticed crows feet coming up by one of my eyes. Then, today, while working out, my back and knee started hurting. Not fun! I better not see any gray hairs any time soon. That might send me over the edge. Lauren asked me how old I'd be on my birthday and her response to my age was, "Wow! You're going to be almost as old as Daddy and you'll be able to push me really high on the swing!" Actually, I'm older than Jason by six weeks, but I'll let Lauren keep believing Jason is older.

In the picture above, Lauren and Emily are posing in monogrammed aprons my friend Lesa sent them for Christmas. Today is Lesa's birthday, so HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Lesa!!!

We're not getting old. We're just becoming "biologically challenged"! ;)
