Last Thursday, Lauren had Hibernation Day in her class. Wearing jammies to school was a little confusing for her, but she liked having hot chocolate and watching a movie. Since then, we've had several hibernation days at home, too. What do we do on hibernation days? We stay in our jammies, read books, watch movies, drink hot chocolate, take naps, get showers, and put on fresh jammies in time for bed! Sounds good, huh? Today was the perfect day for one due to snow this morning, temperatures dropping during the day, and Emily trying to get over a nasty cold. This past Saturday was a hibernation day, too. I had a Girls' Night Out with Priscilla and Renee on Friday night. Saturday morning, Jason said, "What did ya'll do last night? You look rough." Who knew dinner at Panera and browsing at a book store could be so exhausting. I was so worn out on Saturday, I could barely function, so a hibernation day was necessary. The next time you feel too tired to function, declare a hibernation day, you'll be glad you did!
