Last week we had a couple of days of warmer weather and we took advantage of them. It was nice to have lots of time to play outside and put Christmas presents to good use. Lauren and Emily loved driving around in the jeep. After 30 minutes of Lauren driving, Emily got brave and decided to try it. It took her a while to get the hang of it, but thanks to Lauren pressing the gas pedal, Emily finally figured out the steering part. Unfortunately, Emily's legs are too short to reach the pedal, so when Lauren jumped ship in order to ride her bike, we had a problem. I tried to reach in and push the pedal, but that didn't work out so well. After driving around, Emily wanted a turn on the bike, too, so I pushed, and pushed, and pushed some more. Maybe all the bike and trike pushing is what left me so worn out on Saturday!
