This time last year, Emily was recovering from a viral infection, Jason was in Orlando at a conference, and we had no idea that the stomach virus was about to strike. Fast forward a year to today: Emily has pneumonia, Lauren has a double ear infection and pinkeye, and Jason's conference in Orlando has been cancelled due to the economy. Please don't let the stomach virus strike! I guess the end of January/beginning of February is our time to be sick. Since we've been housebound for about 8 days, I'm starting to get a little stir crazy and I'd probably be even more stir crazy if I felt better. We've worked on some art projects, read books, watched lots of PBS, and I'm running out of fun ideas. One of Jason's co-workers sent the girls some dress up stuff last week, so they've been enjoying new outfits in between the coughing fits. We already had a lot of dress up stuff, but a girl can never have too many dress up clothes, or so I'm telling myself as I find it spread across the house. Maybe we can send some dress up clothes to the grandparents so that they can share in the dress up joy! Emily thinks an outfit isn't complete without a hat and on the day I took these pictures an Auburn hat was the hat of choice! What can I say, she's her daddy's girl.

Name the illness, we probably have it
