Today I held a sweet day-old baby girl. My friend, Amanda, had a baby yesterday afternoon and I was able to visit her this afternoon. Amanda's baby, Emma, is absolutely beautiful, and I am going to insist that I babysit her so that I can hold her and get my baby fix. The only thing better than holding a newborn is knowing that newborn won't be waking you up in the middle of the night! I'm a little jealous because I think Emma has as much hair as my Emily does.
Emily and Lauren have been at the grandparents' house for a couple of days since Nana is on Spring Break. Today, Nana and Papa took the girls to a state park. They loved it and evidently were not happy when it was time to load up and head home. Emily loves being outside just as much as Lauren and has started having little tantrums when she has to stop swinging. Our friends Shane and Joy are coming to stay with us for a few days, so today was spent trying to get our house in shape for company and trying to pack up winter clothes and bring out spring clothes. What a job!
