Clean, Clean, Clean!

Sunday night, Jason told me he thought he was coming down with the stomach virus, too. Sure enough, a few hours later, he was sick, too. This propelled me into a cleaning frenzy. Monday morning, after breakfast, I started disinfecting the playroom. I wiped down every surface and every toy in there. I washed blankets, throw pillows, dress-up clothes, if it could be washed or wiped down with a Lysol solution, it got clean. After lunch, I moved to the kitchen. It took hours, but my kitchen looks great! I cleaned the fridge, moved the microwave to clean under it, washed drip pans from the stove, then totally decluttered, tossed stuff in the garbage, and moved a few things around. Even Jason thinks it looks good and he isn't easily impressed. Then, it was time to move on to the bathrooms. By this point, it was time for Jason to go to class. He stayed home from work, but he had to go to class last night. He was pretty drained, but he made it. After getting the girls dinner, baths, and Emily into bed. Lauren and I started folding laundry and changing sheets. By the time I went to bed, I thought I was going to collapse, but I love having a clean, disinfected house!

Update on the girls and Jason: Lauren is back to normal, but we are going to have to have some serious TV detox, due to all the TV she's watched over the weekend. I've seen so much Winnie the Pooh that I had this crazy dream that Jason was throwing honey on me. Emily is taking a little longer to recover, but hopefully today will be the day I know she's well. Jason is feeling better and went back to work today, but he definitely isn't back to 100%.
