Trick-or-Treatin'

Trick-or-Treatin' - That is what Emily would say when she'd go up to our neighbors doors for candy. I thought Emily might be a little intimidated about taking candy from strangers, but her desire for candy was stronger than any fear she may have felt about people she didn't know. We did have one house where Lauren turned and ran after the door opened. One of our neighbors dressed up as the wolf in the Little Red Riding Hood. It was the best costume I've ever seen, but Lauren was terrified. Lauren was so excited about the candy, though, and so appreciative. After each house she'd hold up her bucket and happily say, "Look at all my candy!!!" The sugar high has not led to good sleeping this weekend and I am exhausted. Things are not looking up in the sleep department - Emily is coming down with a cold. Oh well, one day I'll sleep, it just might be a day far, far away from now.

They look so sweet in their costumes! I hope ya'll can get over the sickies soon. We are still fighting them as well. Let me know a day that you could come over and I want to cook lunch for you and the girls and finally get to spend some time with ya'll. I really do miss you bunches. I never see anyone any more. With the kids and selling the old house I am about to go insane!!!
