Dress-up is one of the girls' favorite activities. It isn't unusual for them to have tried multiple dress-up dresses on before breakfast. Sometimes they're ballerinas, other times they're Cinderella and Snow White, and on the day in the picture they were headed to the symphony. There are lots of things you expect to hear your preschooler say, but "Hey, Mom, we're going to the symphony." is not one of them. With Lauren, though, we're started to get used to the unexpected. I'm actually supposed to go to the symphony tomorrow night to see Yo-Yo Ma. I was really excited, but a couple of days with a sick baby has dimmed my excitement. Now I'm just tired and not sure if I'll make it to the symphony or not.
