I'm not sure what the most recent hurricane is named, but I do know the name of the hurricane that hit my house this morning...Hurricane Emmy. Emmy is MISCHIEVOUS and this morning she did what she does best, get into as much as possible in the shortest time frame possible. A few things she did this morning: found Jason's school bag and when I found her she was shoving as much gum as she could in her mouth as fast as she could. Then she went downstairs, pulled her diaper off and wet the dining room floor. Later while upstairs doing laundry, I told her to stay off Mommy's bed, so she pointed at it and said, "Daddy's" and climbed on up. I believe she's tried on every shoe in her closet, be it hers or Lauren's, and she made a game of seeing just how quickly she could pull down the clothes as I hung them up. Not much carpet is showing in our playroom, and we have a large playroom, because she felt the need to pull out every toy in our house. DVDs and XBOX controllers are also cluttering up the floor. What could be more fun than pulling out all the DVDs and using the controller cord as a jump rope? Then she moved on to her room where books started coming off the shelf. I have my work cut out for me if this house is going to be straight before Jason comes home from work. So, where is Lauren amidst all the chaos? Lauren's happy, she's been having a PBS-a-thon in front of the TV.
The pictures are of Hurricane Emmy having her lunch today. Not even the kitchen table was safe!

Too funny! I know it's not funny when it happens to you, but reading it made me laugh! I hope she settles down for you for the rest of today. Hey, at least she and Lauren weren't "partners in crime"--imagine how that would have been!
