Lauren's Check-Up

Lauren had her 3 yr old check-up yesterday. I'm not sure why, but she was a little traumatized. She cried when I told her we were going to see the Dr., cried even more when we dropped Emmy off, "I miss my baby." and completely melted down when we walked into the examining room and the nurse told her to take off her shoes. After a little prodding and a lot of comforting, she did let the nurse weigh her and measure her. Lauren is 40 lbs (97th percentile) and 39.5 inches (93rd percentile). Between her height and her verbal skills she's always mistaken for at least a 4 yr old. Everything else checked out, too, and the Dr. agreed that she does seem to be suffering from seasonal allergies and prescribed Claritin for her. We're all suffering from allergies this week, though it seems to be getting better as the week progresses. We're looking forward to a long weekend with Jason.
