Ralphie's little brother
Ralphie's little brother - that is what Emily looks like in her new winter coat. If you've seen A Christmas Story as many times as my brothers have, you know exactly what I'm talking about. It is hilarious. Her coat is so puffy, she can't bend her arms. They just stick out from her body. Needless to say, she hates this and starts to fuss as soon as she sees the coat. Because it is in the 20s here she has to wear it. It is amazing how much Emily seems to have changed since having her birthday. She seems to really understand what we're telling her and has started following simple directions. This week she's started blowing us kisses, which is really sweet. She's also started having a few tantrums, which reminds us we've started the journey toward the terrible two's.

Ezekiel will be two in a few weeks, and we can already tell the 'enjoyable twos' are going to be fun! We've had a hard time with the threes in our house... so this will be a first! I guess he's just trying to keep up with his brothers... hard job!
