Trick-or-Treat 2010

Jason got some fabulous pictures of the girls tonight. These are NOT it! Somehow we've lost the camera cord to download pictures during this move. I've looked everywhere I can think to look, but it hasn't turned up. I guess if that is the only thing we lose due to all the moves this year, then we are doing ok!

We've had a super busy weekend. We kicked off the weekend by driving way out in the country to a Sunday School bonfire and hayride. Think acres and acres of cotton fields. We've never seen anything like it. We enjoyed getting to know some of the people in our SS class and Lauren and Emily had so much fun with the other children. Saturday morning we were up early and on our way to our very first Bellevue Loves Memphis. Think hundreds of volunteers going all over Memphis to give of their time and talents. We spent the morning landscaping at the Stephen Olford Center. This is the first time we've really been able to serve as a family and we can't wait for the next opportunity! Last night we went to Project Pumpkin at a local church where the girls played games, jumped on inflatables, and got candy. Saturday was a little too much for Emily and she let us know it by having a complete melt down at the grocery store. She sat down in the middle of the frozen foods aisle, in her lady bug costume, and expressed her extreme displeasure at not getting the Pop Tarts she wanted a few aisles back. She was good to go, though, after some sleep. Tonight we Trick-or-Treated in our neighborhood. We loved meeting more of our neighbors and the girls enjoyed giving out candy as much as getting it. Hope you got some yummy treats this weekend!
