I thought we'd escaped...
About 30 minutes ago, I heard the sound no mother wants to hear...Lauren throwing up multiple times in the back seat. She's been running a fever and complaining of a headache and chills for about 12 hours. I'm calling the nurse when they come back from lunch, but I'm pretty sure she has the flu. Between the flu shot and making it until almost May, I thought maybe we'd missed out on the flu this year. I hope nobody else gets it!

I hope Lauren is better. It is so hard when the little ones are sick!
