Recharged

This has been a wonderful weekend. I feel recharged and ready for the week ahead. Lauren and Emily had a great time with the grandparents and since Mom's Spring Break is coming up soon, more great times will be approaching quickly! While at the grandparents, Lauren got her "cellphone" and called her friend Steve. I have no idea who Steve is, unless he's Steve from Blues Clues. While talking to Steve, she told him that her phone was about to be deaded. A minute later she closed her phone and declared that yes, the phone was dead. Oh the things Lauren learns from her mother, who has had her cell phone pressed to her ear quite a bit lately. Emily took a few steps several different times while at the grandparents. Now maybe she'll do it for us. We met my parents after church to get the girls and had lunch at Panera. Emily entertained us by eating a pickle. She loved it. Lauren's new thing at restaurants is to not eat. This is so strange for her because she loves to eat.
I had a blast shopping, going into any store I wanted and looking for as long as I wanted. I can't even remember the last time I did that. Girls night at my church was fun. We had a great time and my friend Christina and I won Cranium. We make a great team because we both love to win. Spending time with some of the ladies from church reminded me again how blessed I am and I hope I get to spend time with them again soon.
